This is one of BSC Construction's most ambitious residential projects to date: a whole-house revamp combined with front, side, and rear double storey extensions — effectively reimagining the entire property from foundation to roofline.
The homeowners envisioned a modern family home with dramatically more space, contemporary aesthetics, and bespoke interior finishing throughout. BSC Construction delivered a transformation that exceeded every expectation, adding new living areas, bedrooms, a home theatre, walk-in wardrobe, and redesigned outdoor spaces while completely renovating the existing structure.
From structural steelwork and roofing to custom cabinetry and ambient lighting — every element was planned and executed by our team. The extension work added substantial floor area on all three sides of the original structure — front, side, and rear — across both floors. New structural steelwork, reinforced concrete, and modern roofing systems were engineered to integrate seamlessly with the existing building. The exterior was completely reclad with a contemporary facade treatment featuring clean lines, modern materials, and carefully designed architectural lighting that transforms the home's presence after dark.

Crafted for Impact
The foyer sets the tone with a custom-built entrance cabinet featuring recessed cove lighting that casts a warm glow across the reception area. A handcrafted timber room divider elegantly separates the foyer from the main living space while maintaining an open, connected feel.
Every piece of joinery was designed in-house by BSC Construction, measured to the millimetre, and finished with premium materials that match the home's modern design language.

The living room centres around a stunning marble TV feature wall with integrated ambient backlighting. Custom wall-to-wall cabinetry provides concealed storage while maintaining the clean, minimalist aesthetic. In the dining area, a built-in display cabinet with glass shelving and accent lighting creates an elegant focal point for showcasing the homeowner's collection.

Designed for Serious Cooking
The kitchen was completely gutted and rebuilt with custom-designed cabinetry, premium countertops, and a functional island layout that supports both daily cooking and entertaining. Soft-close mechanisms, integrated appliance housings, and concealed storage make this a kitchen that performs as good as it looks.
Every cabinet was built to measure by BSC's in-house carpentry team — no off-the-shelf units, all bespoke.
A Staircase That Steals the Show
The centrepiece of the ground floor is a modern glass-panelled staircase with timber treads and a sleek steel stringer. Beneath the stairs, BSC Construction designed a custom wine display cabinet with temperature-controlled storage and LED accent lighting — transforming dead space into a lifestyle feature.
The glass balustrade creates visual transparency that keeps the open-plan ground floor feeling light and connected, even as it rises through the new double-height volume.

The upper floor houses the master suite and private spaces, all finished to a hotel-grade standard. The master bathroom features a double vanity with backlit mirrors, large-format porcelain tiles, and a frameless glass shower enclosure with rain shower fittings. The custom walk-in wardrobe was designed with a glass-fronted display system, integrated LED lighting, and a mix of hanging, shelving, and drawer storage — a dressing room that rivals luxury retail fitouts.

A dedicated cinema room with acoustic treatment, star-effect ceiling, and custom seating.
Cinema Experience at Home
One of the standout features of this project: a purpose-built home theatre room located in the newly extended rear section. BSC Construction fitted the room with full acoustic wall treatment, darkened surfaces, and a stunning fibre-optic star-effect ceiling that transforms the space into a private cinema.
Pre-wiring for surround sound, a projector mount, motorised screen, and dimmable ambient lighting were all integrated during construction — no afterthought installations, everything was planned from day one.
The home theatre was made possible by the rear double storey extension — space that simply didn't exist before BSC Construction reimagined the property.
